Electromagnetic and Geophysical Processes Stimulated by High-Power Radio Waves in the Near-to-Earth Plasma

Abstract

The results of experimental investigations of large-scale disturbances (to 1-3 thousand km) stimulated by high-power HF and MF radio waves from midlatitudinal and highlatitudinal facilities in the near-to-Earth plasma at altitudes of 60-1000 km are presented. The possible mechanisms of the generation and propagation of such disturbances are described.
