New types of spread-spectrum signals have been developed. There are fractal
ultra-wideband (FUWB) signals. Using correlator model, numerical simulation
of measurement of the FUWB signals on the background of interferences, was
performed. Experimental investigation of synthesis and generation of the
fractal information signals is undertaken. Spectral characteristics of the
transmitted fractal signals are measured experimentally. The signal spectra
are shown to have self-similar character. FUWB signals can be applied in the
communication systems, operating in the conditions of complex electromagnetic
environment.
