Stepanovskiy From Maxwell Equation to Berry's Phase and Sonoluminescence: Problems of Theory of Electromagnetic and Other Massless Fields

Abstract

The fundamental problems of the theory of relativistic massless fields such as fields equations and their quantization, existence of local density of energy and other physical observables, violation of causality in relativistic quantum theory are discussed. The special role of electromagnetic field among other massless fields is underlined.
