The processes of heating and melting of paraffin plugs in shank of oil well and pipelines by microwave electromagnetic radiation are investigated. The evolution of temperature fields in plug volume is studied for different physical conditions and plugs geometry. The time of melting of open charnel in plug and time of its complete removal are determined.
