Wave-guide Electric and Magnetic Fields in a Maxwell-Hertz Electrodynamics

Abstract

A recently proposed version of the classical electrodynamics is applied to the calculation of the propagating modes in a wave guide, and it is shown that such kind of devices could be used for experimentally testing that theoretical approach. The idea relies on the consideration of uniform motion of the fields source along the guide's axis.
