Electromagnetic Radiation for Pipeline Internal Surface Cleansing from Paraffin Films |
AbstractThe numeric simulation is performed on thin paraffin sedimentation removal on the oil pipeline internal surface, using a moving electromagnetic radiation emission source. The analysis is made on a model cylindrical wave-guide with the radius R=0.0775 m, with the longitudinal paraffin film extension being 5 m. The times of total pipeline cleansing from the paraffin film are determined vs. film thickness, initial oil temperature, microwave source power and frequency. |
