Results of theoretical research of transition radiation in beam-plasma systems are described. Conditions of resonance increase of the intensity of transition radiation are investigated in details. Influence of fields in the near-field region on the radiation field pattern (side and outgoing waves) of the transition radiation is determined. Estimations of efficiency for a beam oscillator are given.
